PUNG, Jacqueline M. – of Clio, age 77, died Thursday, May 16, 2019 at her home. Mass of Christian Resurrection will be celebrated in memory of Jacqueline at 10AM, Saturday, May 18, 2019 at SS. Charles and Helena Catholic Church, 230 E. Vienna Road, Clio. Rev. Fr. Jerry Ploof officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 4PM until 8PM and at the church on Saturday from 9AM until the time of Mass at 10AM. A wake service will be held 7PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center. 
 
Jacqueline was born January 11, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Howard and Dorothy (Spencer) Hagerty. She graduated from Marywood Academy in 1961. Jacqueline obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Aquinas College. She married Ronald Pung on July 25, 1971 in Zilwaukee, Michigan. Jacqueline retired from Flint City Schools as a teacher in 1997 after 36 years of service. She was a member of SS. Charles and Helena for many years. Jacqueline was a Eucharistic Minister, Lector and active in the church prayer chain. She was also on the Council of Catholic Women and involved in the Resurrection Choir. Jacqueline was a member of St. Luke N.E.W. Life Center where everyone knew her as “Grandma Jackie”. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, planting flowers and traveling. Jacqueline was extremely family oriented and loved socializing with friends and family. She also enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sports events and spending time at the lake up north. 
 
Surviving are: Husband, Ronald Pung; Children: Ronald (Leah Fork) Pung Jr. and Kristen Fournier; Grandchildren: Jason Fournier Jr., Robert Fournier III, and Spencer Fournier; Brothers: John Hagerty and Tim (Betty) Hagerty; Sisters: Anne (Lynn) Oberg and Maureen (Todd) Banning; Numerous special friends, nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hagerty; Sister, Patricia Kersten; Brother-in-law, Tom Kersten and sister-in-law, Patricia Hagerty.
