ANTCLIFF, Isabelle Bessie (Wheaton) – Of Linden age 85, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Caretel Inns of Linden.
Isabelle was born on January 19, 1927 in Mason County, Ludington, MI, the daughter of Clarence E. Wheaton and Isabelle Marie Genter.
Visitation 11a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 until the time of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Isabelle will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. She was co-owner of Antcliff Windows & Doors in Burton, MI, with her husband, Charles Antcliff and worked as President until her retirement. Isabelle and Charles were married on November 17, 1945.
She loved to travel and was well known as a great cook and loved to collect cookbooks. She also had her bird feeders outside her window and loved to see all the different birds, squirrels, ducks and geese daily. She really enjoyed the show they put on.
She is survived by her son, Carl (Melinda) Antcliff of Linden;
daughter, Patti (John) Zizka of Grand Blanc and
son, David J. Antcliff of Flint;
brothers, Clare (Elaine) Wheaton of Ludington
Clark Wheaton of Ludington;
sister, Sherl Van Aelst of Scottville,
brother, Walter (Sydney) Wheaton of Scottville and brother, Chester (Verlaine) Wheaton of Ludington;
9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Antcliff; daughter, Ruth Ann Betts; brother, Kenneth Wheaton; brother-in-law, Robert Van Aelst and sister-in-law, Geraldine Wheaton.
