HARTMAN, Michael Eugene - Of Genesee Township, age 67, passed peacefully Tuesday, August 4, 2020 with his family by his side.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial visitation will be held 5-8pm Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Michael was born in Flint on September 14, 1952, the son of William Paul Hartman and Ethel Mae Thompson. On June 15, 1974, he married Teresa Wood at Bray Road Baptist Church in Mt. Morris.
Mike was a man of many things. His life was nothing short of being full. He was a hardworking licensed builder of 50 years. He worked until the last day he could hold a hammer. He worked hard and played hard. Mike was the life of the party, he was the party. When he wasn’t working or entertaining, he was a family man. He was the fun grandpa with wet kisses. Mike was a loving dad that would take the shirt off his back. But most importantly, he was a caring supportive husband for 46 years. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving are wife, Teresa;
Son, Shane (fiancee Kimberly Hoffman) Hartman;
Daughter, Kristina (Daniel) Thomas;
Son, Scott (Sabrina) Hartman;
Grandchildren, Brandon, Tegan, Tyler, Spencer, Lauren and Lindsey.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
