His Legacy...Paul S. Nofs, age 61, passed away December 17, 2015. He was born on August 19, 1954 in Flint, MI to Gordon and Loretta (Rzonca) Nofs. Paul married the love of his life, Elizabeth Munson at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 7, 1975. He was a devoted husband and father and was affectionately known as "The Dad." He was a altar server at Holy Rosary and an Eagle Scout where he completed a lifelong goal of traveling to Philmont. He also completed a lengthy trip on his bicycle from Flint, MI to the Mackinac Bridge. Paul completed his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering at University of Michigan. He was also a Cub Scout leader for Pack 395 in Hamburg. He enjoyed video games with his children, using the handle "Magister Ludi" or "Master of Play." Paul will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family...Paul leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth (Munson) Nofs; parents, Gordon and Loretta (Rzonca) Nofs; children, Eric (Traci) Nofs, Clair (Ryan) Dickson, Charles Nofs, Leo Nofs; siblings, Cynthia (John) Dickson Valenti, Steven (Dawn) Nofs, Sally Nofs D.V.M., Mariellen Peto; grandchildren, Joshua, Alexander and Sebastian. Paul also leaves behind his good friend Father Paul Cummins.
His Farewell...Family and friends will gather on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 3-8PM with a scripture service at 7PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Paul's Community Farewell will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Father John Rocus as celebrant.
