JENKINS, Jason – of Otter Lake and North Branch, age 39, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12 PM, Monday, August 12, 2019 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville, MI 48463; Pastor Rob Prince and Dr. Stephen Anthony co-officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thin Blue Line Foundation, 1500 NW 167th Place, Beaverton, OR 97006 .
Jason was born in Flint, MI on July 3, 1980, son of Dale and Karan (Williams) Jenkins. He was a police officer in Shiawassee County, Dryden Township Police Dept., Metamora Township, Almont Township and the Flint City Police Dept. Jason loved adventure, especially on his boat. He enjoyed water skiing and loved his beagles.
In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his brother, Dustin Jenkins; grandmother, Carol Williams; niece, Olivia Jenkins; nephew, Colin Jenkins; uncles, Wade Jenkins, David Williams;Cory Harvey; Ashley Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph “Stub” and Dorine Jenkins; grandfather, Luther Williams, uncles, Robert Williams and Luther Williams, Jr.
