COUTCHER, Winifred C. “Winnie” – Of Fenton, age 92, died Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Vicinia Gardens. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint, Father Tom Firestone officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Winifred will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday. She was born in Flint, Michigan on October 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Levi and Lorraine (Mayville) Coutcher and was a resident of Flint and Fenton. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Winifred was employed by the City of Flint in City Hall. Surviving are sister, Patricia Coutcher; sister-in-law, Erlene Coutcher; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Harold, Ann, Fran, Dell, Joe, Ed, Elaine and Loraine. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
