BERRY, James E. – of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 5PM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Tony McKee officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6PM until 8PM and on Saturday from 1PM until the time of service at 5PM. Cremation to follow.
James was born on September 5, 1936 in Balch, Arkansas to the late Emmett and Ruth (Guthrie) Berry. He married Juanita Poe on June 7, 1969 in Flint, Michigan. Mr. Berry retired from Fisher Body – Coldwater with 30 years seniority and was a member of the UAW local # 598. James was an all-around sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: wife, Juanita Berry of Mt. Morris; children, James (Terri) Berry of Winter Haven, FL, Rick (Karen) Liddell of Boca Raton, FL, Kimberly Pomroy of Mt. Morris, Dennis (Kim) Liddell of Lake Worth, FL, Byrne (Stacey) Liddell of Birmingham; 8 grandchildren; Joshua, Jonathon, Tyeler (Kelly), Ashley, Hunter, Jamie, Bryce, Luke; 2 special angels, Kylee and Chloe; brother, E.D. (Linda) Berry; sisters, Kathey (Johnny) Whitsett, Linda Honey. James was preceded in death by; brother, Tom Berry; sister, Etta Honey.
