PALMER, Morris C. – Of Genesee, age 95, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at home with his loving family present.
Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI at 1 p.m. Monday, October 15, 2018.
Morris was born in Fernville, Oregon on December 30, 1922, the son of the late Charles E. Palmer and Lottie (nee Smith).
On November 1, 1946 he married Frances Mae Potter in Genesee, Michigan and they had been married for 72 years.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Davison, served as a Chaplin for the VFW, passed out bibles, visited sick Vets in the VA in Saginaw, said prayers for Vet services and volunteered for Genesee Parks.
Mr. Palmer was employed by GM for 34 years.
He was a loving husband and father.
Surviving are wife, Frances;
children, Michael R. (Rita) Palmer, Barbara M. Boyle, Mark S. Palmer, Susan D. (Timothy) Jordan;
10 grandchildren;
13 great-grandchildren;
sister, Beverly Garrow;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 7 siblings.
