MADDEN, Debra “Debbie” – of Davison, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2013. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 and 4-8 PM Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Outreach East.
Debbie was born in Flint, MI on October 17, 1960, daughter of Joyce (Hansen-Simoni) and Ronald Wellman and Richard Simoni. Debbie graduated from Davison High School in 1978. She married David J. Madden on February 26, 1982 at St. John Catholic Church, Davison. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and worked at Health Plus for over 30 years. Debbie loved being outside and enjoyed working in her yard. Her greatest joy was being with her family and friends.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David J. Madden; children, Leslie (David Le) Madden and Allen (Kari) Madden; father, Ronald (Nancy) Wellman; father-in-law, Martin R. Madden; aunt, Karen Hansen; siblings, Lora Simoni, Craig (Connie) Wellman, Chris (Pat) Wellman, Todd (Rachel) Wellman and Julie Wellman; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lorraine (Denny) Provost, Marty (Karla) Madden, Nancy Madden and Doug (Patty) Madden; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve Joyce Wellman, mother-in-law, Jane Madden and her aunt, Laura Hansen.
