Parker, Alvadeen – of Flint, age 84, died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Willowbrook Nursing Home in Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11AM, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home-Clio. Pastor Steve Turner officiating. Burial to take place in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 11AM until 2PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Alvadeen Parker.
Alvadeen was born October 28, 1931 in Missouri to the late Shirley and Velma (Lilley) Pavy. Alvadeen married Howard R. Parker May 1, 1948 in Flint. He predeceased her June 7, 2007. Alvadeen was a member of Central Assembly Pentecostal Church of God. She enjoyed her yard and gardens. She also loved to make jewelry and listen to the Word.
Surviving are her children: David (Sue) Parker of Flint, Judy Parker of Clio, Edward (Michele) Parker of Flint, and Steven (Tonia) Parker of Clio; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Shirley (Bill) Sanders and Marcella (Don) Meek; and several nieces and nephews.
