Pearl was born in Flint on December 13, 1919 the daughter of Laurence E. and Myrtle Burleson. On November 29, 1941, she married her one and only true love, Lawrence Victor Fisher. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1990 after 49 years of marriage. They spread their love to 7 children, Kay (Lee) Beaudoin, Elaine (Russ) Ross, Jan (Darrell) Sprague, Nancy (Mike)Keyes, Lin (Doug) Dibble, Anne (Jeff) Johnson and Larry (Debi) Fisher.
In her spare time she completed an LPN course at Mott Community College, worked at the Flint Board of Education Scholarship office for Mott and DeWaters, belonged to the Daughters of Isabella, St. Agnes Catholic Church Altar Society and Guilds, was a member of St. Agnes Church until its closing and was currently a member of St. Pius X. She spent summers in East Tawas for most of her adult life and loved to play bingo at PLAV and go to the casino. One of her favorite things to do was buying gifts for everyone for birthdays and Christmas.
Pearl was preceded by her parents, husband Larry, grandson Daniel Beaudoin, brothers George, Donald and Leo and sisters, Lena, Vivian Maschino, Edith Brookey and Beulah Pyscher and childhood friend, Iris Smith. She loved her 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Our mom instilled strong Christian values in all her children. Family was everything to her and she spent her entire life raising and nurturing all of us. She finished her job here on Earth and now she is with our dad in Heaven.
Our mother was a strong, caring woman who truly loved life. We will miss you mom.
A special thank you to Dr. Hak and staff and to Kathy and Thelma for their wonderful hospice care.
