GOIN, Willie Leo Jr. – of Flint, age 83, passed away March 9, 2013 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, 9506 N. Dort Hwy., Mt. Morris, MI 48458; Chaplain Dave Gerber officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow.
Willie was born in Flint on December 15, 1929, son of the late Willie and Sara (Totty) Goin. Willie Goin married Patricia Heil. Patricia preceded him in death in 1997. Willie proudly served his country with the U.S. Air Force and was a lifetime member of the AMVETS-Durand. He was also a member of the Flint F.O.E. # 629. Willie was a “Harley Man” all the way. He retired as a Fork Truck Operator with Ternstedt.
Willie is survived by his children, Chris (Teresa) Goin, Susan (Mark) Weber, Michael (Kathy) Goin, Michele Goin, Crystal (Charles) Coffee, Cindy (David) Gill, Finese Goin and Brenda (Joel) Szukhent; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
