JOHNSON, Willa “Willie” – Of Flint, age 88, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Maple Place Adult Foster Care.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Lawrence Kluck officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Willa was born in Sarnia, Ontario Canada on January 28, 1923. She married Bernard Johnson in 1944. She was a member of IBG Retirees and Buick Salaried Retiree Club.
Mrs. Johnson was employed by Buick Motor Division, as an Executive Secretary, for 30 years, retiring in 1979.
Surviving are sister-in-law, Vivian Potvin; nieces, Pam and husband Tom Thullen, Margaret and husband Norm Jacob, Michelle and husband Mark Goff; nephews, David Young, Ron Castle, Douglas Brookman and
Richard Brookman; many wonderful friends that were like family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, on July 30, 2010.
