MALLON, Marjorie Ellen - age 85, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Funeral services will be held 12:30 PM Friday, March 20, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Marjorie was born March 26, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Mack Francis and Claribelle (Murdock) Kaufman. She was a life long resident of Flint and Grand Blanc. Marjorie was married to her first husband Philip Brown and he preceded her in death on October 1, 1969; she married Dr. Harold Mallon February 23, 2005 and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2010. She was a Dental Assistant for 30 years. Marjorie enjoyed sewing, cooking, creating carved vegetable arrangements, crocheting, and helping others. She also enjoyed shopping and was born to bargain shop! Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends, dog Gus and grand dogs who were the world to her.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia (David) Cheesebro of Fenton, Chari Schweinsberg of Grand Blanc; 2 grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) and Jennifer; 8 great grandchildren; sister in laws, Becky Kaufman of Flint, Barb Twining, Carolyn Yack and Renea Brown; brother in law, Earl (Dawn) Brown and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was also preceded in death by: her parents and brothers, John and Howard Kaufman; brother in laws, Bob Brown, Danny Brown and Ward Twining. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneral homes.com
