BREWER, Vestal Mae -- Age 91, of Flint Township formerly of Swartz Creek, died February 8, 2018. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday February 15 at Immanuel Baptist Church of Corunna, 2680 E, M 21 Corunna . Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday , and 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek, and 9:30AM until time of service at the church on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Immanuel Baptist Church of Corunna.
Vestal was born March 2, 1926 in Lafe Ak. the daughter of Edgar M. and Audrey M. (Gay) Wright. She married Donald Brewer on March 1, 1947 in Flint, He preceded her in death December 7, 2008. She was a former secretary of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Corunna. She was a wonderful homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Terry L Brewer and wife Sandra, James D. Brewer and wife Judy, Scott R. Brewer and wife Teri; grandchildren, Amy Levesque and husband Douglas, Angie Phillips, Jeremy Brewer and wife Tammy, Jenni Brewer, Jeffery Brewer, Stacey French and husband Marcus, Christopher Brewer and wife Stephanie; great grandchildren, Joshua Levesque and wife Katti, Jeremiah Levesque, Jesse Levesque and wife Morgan, Josiah Levesque, Jackson Levesque, Benjamin Phillips, Hannah Phillips, Jonathan Phillips, Andrew Brewer, Elaina Brewer, Ella French, Emmett French, Scott Brewer, Matthew Brewer; great great-grandchild, Riley Mae Levesque; brother, Kenneth Wright and wife, Sue of East Tawas.
