Shirley Ann Eidson, Our beloved mother - Age 70, was surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 20th 2018 in Flint Township when she passed away at 2:39 pm. Services will be held 6 PM Friday March 2 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be 2 PM until the time of service. She formerly resided in Prescott, Michigan with her husband Grady Lee Eidson who preceded her in death in the year 2004. Shirley had been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 lung Adenocarcinoma with metastasis to the brain. Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on October 16, 1947. She was the second child of 6, the eldest daughter born to Sanford Earl Little and Ruth Cecelia (Casselman) She was a woman of great strength and had a loving, generous heart. Funny, crazy and sweet all wrapped up in one beautiful package and always helping those that were down and out. She graduated from Grand Blanc Adult High School in 1978 . Her first job was at Varsity restaurant as a car hop, then later at Howard Johnsons, K-Mart, Hillbilly Corners, and then with American Greetings for 15 years. She was a skilled artisan. There wasn't anything she couldn't craft with her hands (ceramics, macrame, quilting, crocheting) and every stitch was made with love. She is survived by her 6 children; Tammy Harmon (Tom), Vechem Canamore, James Eidson, Billy Eidson (Sandra), Jimmy Eidson (Carolyn), and Debbie Aclair (Greg); 8 Grandchildren, Vaughn, Katrina, Anthony, Tyler, Alexis, Dylan, Selena, Gary; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Little of McKenzie TN, Mary Little of Augres MI, Donna McRoy of Mckenzie TN, Sharon VanHorn of Whittemore, MI, and step-sister Pat Wiggins of Muskegon, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leroy Little with whom she adored. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society - Relay for Life an organization that Shirley was an activist for and was very dear to her heart.
