GIBBS, Donna Belle (Torrey-Parker) - age 83, of Linden, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton with Tim Welker officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until the service time. Contributions in Donna's memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Donna was born February 21, 1936 in Fenton, the daughter of Harold F. and Marguerite L. (Van Wagoner) Torrey. She was the former owner of A & W in Fenton and then worked as an Administration Account Specialist at General Motors for ten years retiring in 1988. She was a talented quilter and loved to travel. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, James E. Gibbs; her children, James H. and Linda Parker, Stephen and Lori Parker, Jeffrey and Kim Parker and Jerl L. (George) Gallagher; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Parker on March 23, 1983; brother, Milton Torrey; and sister, Lois, Hudson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
