HEALY, Bernice A. – Of Flint, age 88, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Clare Bridge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Esmond Evergreen Cemetery, Hale, Michigan.
Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bernice was born in Flint, Michigan on March 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Clinton and Bertha Montney.
She married Myron Healy on April 12, 1941 in Toledo, Ohio and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2003.
Surviving are two sons, M. Douglas and wife Karen of Fenton, Larry V. and wife Charmi of Davison;
four grandchildren, Todd of Connecticut,
Scott and wife Gina of Indian River, Michigan, Kelli Sordyl of Fenton,
Barry and wife Bernadette of Fenton;
six great-grandchildren, Courtney and husband Johnie Egas, Logan, Troy, Gabrielle, Haley and Bentley;
sister, Leona Kruse of Flint;
several nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at Clare Bridge and also very special friend, Kristin.
She was preceded in death by sister, Ila Temple.
