HOSIE, Theodore A. - Age 94, of Flint, died Tuesday May 8, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 2PM-8PM Monday and 11AM until time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to one's choice. Theodore was born April 17, 1924 in Grand Blanc, the son of the late Lloyd and Gladys (Bendle) Hosie . Mr. Hosie married Maxine Warner on April 4, 1944 and she preceded him in death on January 8, 2016. Theodore proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from General Motors Buick plant with 47 years of service. He enjoyed golfing,fishing,hunting,boating roller skating and going to hockey games with his wife. Surviving are: children, Linda Hosie of Swartz Creek, Bruce (Kathy) Hosie of Mt. Morris, Craig (Cathy) Hosie of Iowa, Norma Young of Swartz Creek, Karen (Dan) Monahan of Jerome, MI, Janel Hosie (Mike) of Kalamazoo, William (Julie) Hosie of MN, Clark (Lisa) Hosie of Crystal Falls. Theodore is also survived by; 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by sister, Josephine and brothers, Calvin, Robert, James and Bernard. Tributes may be shared at of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
