COHOON, Idabell J. - age 84, of Gaines, died Saturday, July 27, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Cohoon was born August 18, 1934 in Lapeer, the daughter of Howard and Stella (Smith) Cook. She married Dale M. Cohoon on March 22, 1952 and he preceded her in death on August 9, 2010. Surviving are: son, Donald (Laurie) Cohoon of Fenton; daughter, Christine (Walt) Parks of Gaines; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary Cook of Florida, Elizabeth (Gary) Hutchinson of Burton, Barbara Tisitt of Perry, and Joanne Linder of Durand; many nieces and nephews.
