GOODALL, Joni Lynn (Ivey) – of Flint, MI, age 63, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2500 North Franklin Avenue, Flint, MI 48506; Fr. Tom Firestone celebrant. Entombment immediately following the Mass in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday, June 3, 2018 and 12-4 PM and 6-8 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 9-10 AM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Monday, June 4, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint.
Joni was born in Flint, MI on November 28, 1954, daughter of Walter and the late Shirley (Steele) Ivey. She married Terry Goodall on May 2, 1975. Joni was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, crocheting and spending time with her family. Joni was loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
Joni is survived by her husband of 43 years, Terry; 2 children, Tony (Nicole) Goodall and Michelle Herron; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas, Trenton, Nathan, Taryn and Noelle; 2 brothers, Mike (Georgia) Ivey and Wally Ivey; sister, Sue Parker; aunt, Charlotte Ranger; special friends, Tony (Sylvia) Martin and the members of the Stations of the Cross Group; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter and Electa Ivey and mother-in-law, Audrey Goodall.
