BEARDSLEY, Betty L. - Of Davison, age 70, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center.
Funeral service will be held 1PM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Don Hodgson Jr. officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation 2-8pm Friday 11am Saturday until the service at the funeral home.
Betty was born in Paragould, AR on March 20, 1944, daughter to the late James and Opal (Stroud) Gardner. She enjoyed water aerobics, golfing, gardening and card clubs.
She married Billy G. Beardsley on May 18, 1962 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2013.
Surviving are son, Billy Wade Beardsley;
daughter, Tammy Lee Woods of FL;
grandson, Dylan Beardsley;
brother, Kenny Gardner;
sisters, Connie Coates and Cammy (Sonny) Coughlin;
mother-in-law, Edna Beardsley;
several brothers and sisters-in-law;
many nieces and nephews;
and special friends and neighbors, Bob and Judy Beal.
Betty was also preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Gardner.
