CURNOW, Nicholas James - Of Flint, age 63, died Friday, May 18, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Dan Louman officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation 12pm Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Nicholas was born in Flint on December 25, 1954, the son of Cyril and Vera Curnow. He served in the United States Army from 1975-78 Military Police in Berlin, Germany at Checkpoint Charlie. Nicholas was proud of his art and creativity. He worked over 30 years for the Flint Board of Education in numerous capacities, retiring in 2014.
Surviving are children, Nicholas (Lisa) Curnow and Vanessa Curnow;
grandchildren, Nicholas III, Elma, and Hazen;
mother, Vera Curnow;
and brothers, Christopher Curnow and Tony (Stacey) Curnow.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cyril Curnow.
