BECK, Ella “Fae” – of Clio, age 91, died Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Maple Woods Manor. Honoring Fae’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Higher Ground Christian Ministries on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM. Pastor Jim Gosnell officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Carriage Town Ministries 705 Garland Street, Flint, MI 48503.
Fae was born October 10, 1932 in Tallapoosa, Missouri to the late William and Nettie (Page) Beck. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Goodrich High School with the class of 1950. After graduating she took a course in Comptometers. She used this training as a Bookkeeper for the Lippincott Oldsmobile Dealership before moving to Buick-GM where she worked and retired from after 25 years of service. She was a member of the IBG Girls Club and the Ski Club. Fae enjoyed playing softball, bowling, tennis and traveling. She was very crafty and enjoyed going to her nieces and nephews sporting events. She was an avid Tigers fan!
Surviving are: Son; Jeff (Janice) Adams, Grandchildren, Aaryn (Daniel) McFarland, Ryan Adams, Great-grandchildren, Aylah and Rowen McFarland of Orlando, Florida. Sister; Sandra Doshier; Nieces and Nephews, Shari Taylor, Wendy Taylor, Pamela Taylor-Bell, Cindy (Garry) Johns, Todd (Tina) Beck, Lori (Sterling) Barnhart, Stacy Giles, Chris (Pam Marie) Taylor; several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers, Rollie Beck and Lynn Keith Beck; Sister, Norma Tucker; Nephew, Craig Doshier.
