PELLERIN, Ellen Irene -- Age 85, of Flint Township, died November 2, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, November 5 at the Swartz Creek Church of Christ, 4410 S. Seymour Rd., Swartz Creek, Dr. Gordon MacKinnon and Mr. Bill Maguffee officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Saturday, 1-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek., and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at the church on Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to a veteran's organization of their choice.
Ellen was born April 10, 1927 in St Louis, MO, the daughter of Fred Thomas Park and Ruth (Lockhart) Park. She was a graduate of Utley High School. She married James A. Pellerin on July 28, 1947. She was a member of the Swartz Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving are: husband of 65 years James; six children, Walt and wife Sue Head of Montrose, Sandra and husband Roger Roselle of Burt, MI, Janice and husband Tom Unangst of Hale, MI, Debra and husband Rick Jones of New Lothrop, David Pellerin of Flint, Brian Pellerin and fiancee Cassie Shindorf of Owosso; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lee Keller. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Harry and Lefty McAllister; and sisters Evelyn Pahman and June White. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
