CULBERT Sr., Robert David, walked with our Lord and Savior to his eternal home on June 21. 2020. Robert, 69, of Mt. Morris, MI., passed away surrounded by the love of his family. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 PM Thursday, June 25, 2020, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 5073 Daly Blvd, Flint, MI 48506. The family will receive visitors Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 12-7:00 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church and Thursday, June 25, 2020, from 10 AM-12 PM. Interment will follow the service at Flint Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church’s music department.
Robert was born in Flint, MI., on July 21, 1950, son of the late Ray and Erna Culbert. Robert was dedicated to his church and his family. You could witness him serving God by leading Bible studies, running sound for services, praising God through his love of singing, maintaining the grounds, and much more.
He lived to be a big part of his children’s and grand children’s lives and activities. Whether attending sporting events, school activities, camping, golfing, talking or working on cars, or cooking out, Robert longed to be surrounded by his family.
It is with great joy and comfort that the family knows Robert has confirmed his place in heaven.
Robert is survived by his children, Robert Jr., Dawnelle (Daniel) Gierman, Stephen (Kathleen), and Johnathon; brother Ray (Joan), sisters Carole (Terry) Jarvinen, and Diane Jarvinen; grandchildren, Sean, Sarah, Danielle, Julia, Calvin, Lucas, Megan (Mary) Daniels, Amber, Hailey, Aliyah, and Jonathon; four great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew and his brother-in-law, Eric (Diane) Jarvinen.
