REIP, Timothy Gordon – of Burton, MI, age 70, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Henry Ford Genesys. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4-7 PM at Eagles Club #629, 2149 N. Dort Hwy., Flint, Michigan 48506. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Timothy (“Papa” as he was more affectionately known as) was born in Flint, Michigan on December 7, 1954, son of Charles F. Reip and Mary J. Nations. Timothy married Sandra Denise Simpkins on May 13, 1989. Timothy enjoyed survival books, shows, and practicing survival techniques. Beyond this, he loved hunting, camping, and spending time with family and friends. Timothy is remembered as the man who could fix anything and tinkered at all times.
Timothy is survived by children: April (George) Putnam, Pamela Butler, and Amanda (Mark Henry) Holt; grandchildren: Christopher (Shirley) Butler, TJ Reip, Kaidance Henry, Anthony Putnam, and Adisyn Henry; great-grandson, Chase Butler; brother, Andrew (Christina) Reip; many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by wife, Sandra “Sandy” Reip, both parents, and brother, Randy Reip.
