Deborah “Debby” Thompson (Bencheck) died suddenly in her home on October 3, 2017 in Flint, MI at the age of 66.
Debby was born on August 13, 1951 in Flint, MI to Mary (Campbell) and George Bencheck.
Debby attended Atherton Schools, class of 1969. She was a former employee of Buick, and later, Crossroads Village. She enjoyed flower gardening, listening to music, playing cards and scrabble. She was always there when you needed her.
She will be missed and cherished by her family & friends.
Debby’s children, Erica A.J. Thompson of Clio, MI; Richard A French (Wife Shannon) of Godfrey, IL; Melissa Dennis (Husband Tony) of Otisville, MI; Julie Thompson of Burton, MI;
Grandkids: Devin, Ashley, Zach, Sevin, Sierra, Brian, David, and Brandon
Sister: Laurie Geror, Diane Coleman (Husband Gary)
Special nephew and nieces Garan Geror, Jennifer Geror & Janie Schafsnitz, and best friend Kevin Koontz
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Burton and then later Flint, MI
A visitation is scheduled for Monday October 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery (3415 East Hill Dr Grand Blanc, MI 48439). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Debby’s life. Flowers can be sent to Evergreen Cemetery (3415 East Hill Dr Grand Blanc, MI 48439).
She is preceded in death by her husband “Wayne” Thompson; Parents: Mary and George Bencheck; brothers: Don, Richard, Butch, Randy, Larry; Son: Gerry Thompson
Services will be officiated by Pastor Bryan Fenner.
