HERMAN, Robert G. – Of Flint, age 85, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2018 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley Street, Flint, Father Thomas Firestone officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Thursday at church until the time of the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pat Haley Scholarship Fund at Powers Catholic high School.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on December 5, 1933, the son of Joseph and Madeline (Charron) Herman.
On June 20, 1953 he married Barbara E. Heddy in Flint.
Mr. Herman retired from General Motors.
Surviving are children, Michael and wife Debra Herman,
Tim and wife JoAnne Herman, all of Flint;
grandchildren, Tim (Liz), David (Colleen), Michael (Karleigh), Andy (Kenzie), Mary and Madeline;
great-grandchildren, William, Grace and Hayes;
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; brothers and sister.
