RAGNONE, Dino Lawrence - Of Flushing, age 86, peacefully passed away on December 12, 2018. Dino was born on September 8, 1932 in Flint, MI to Samuel and Lucia (Zitella) Ragnone. He was a graduate of All Saints High School (1950) and a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran.
Dino owned and operated Ragnone Brothers General Contractors. Later, he was a familiar and kind face to many as owner of Mr. Dino’s Ladies Fashion. During his retirement, he worked at Sam’s Club and as a Flint Township Building Inspector.
Dino was an avid sportsman and ballroom dancer. He also loved attending the athletic events of his children and grandchildren. Dino was actively involved for many years with Sons of Italy, Kiwanis Club, National Ski Patrol and Special Olympics. His faith and his church, First Baptist Church and Journey Ministries in Davison, were very dear to his heart.
Dino leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia Ann (Patterson) Ragnone, children, Julie Hooker, James (Jana) Ragnone, Jon (Sandra) Ragnone, grandchildren, Jaimie (Brent), Jana, Iliana, Kaelin (Chris), Joseph, Alayna and great grandchildren Adalyn and Brantlee.
A memorial service will be held 11am Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.

Visitation 2-6pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place and burial of cremains will follow at Great Lakes National cemetery at a later date with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Camp Quality, a non-profit organization that provides a camping experience for kids with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Ragnone, brothers and sisters, Lena Pileri, Tony Ragnone, Pete Ragnone, Mary Cherveny, Angelo Ragnone and Gordon Ragnone.
