CHAMBERLAIN, CAROL E. – Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her residence.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jim Garfield officiating.
Visitation 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carol was born in Ludington, Michigan on December 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Louis and Mildred (Hoover) Kelsey.
Carol graduated from Fenton High School Class of 1953. She attended Higher Ground Ministries.
She was a member of Friends in Christ.
Carol enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family.
Carol was a Retail Clerk for many years.
Surviving are son, Randy;
9 grandchildren;
numerous great-grandchildren;
3 great-great-grandchildren;
sister, Sandy Merrill;
special nieces, Lori (Mike) Machala and Jill (Dave) Dietrich;
special dedicated daughter-in-law, Glenda Chamberlain;
along with several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vertis Ray; sons, Roderick “Rick”, Rockford “Rock”; daughter, Carla Sue Chamberlain and many special friends.
