Leach, Bruce E. – of Mt. Morris, age 58, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, February 12, 2016, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Brian Lidbeck officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-9 PM and Friday from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM. A luncheon will follow at Fountain of Grace Assembly of God – 2382 E. Mt. Morris Rd. in Mt. Morris. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Bruce was born July 1, 1957, in Flint, Michigan to the late Clifford and Josephine (Morse) Leach. He was a lifelong resident of Mt. Morris and graduated from Mt. Morris High School. Bruce was a U.S. Navy veteran and was employed at Chieftain Trucking in Flint. He enjoyed Harley motorcycles, the drums, blues music and festivals, playing pool and camping. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children: Sarah (Justin) Nieto of Clio and Anthony (Krystal) Leach of Mt. Morris; 7 grandchildren: Nevaeh, Makenzie, Chloe, Jackson, Aubrey, Adalynn and Caleb; Siblings: Dick (Beverly) Leach, Chris (Hugh) Sperling, Carolyn (Syd) LaFayette, Mike Leach (Shirley Coulter), Brian (Mona) Leach and Ted Leach; Life partner, Debra Short; Several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
