ADAMS, Carol Ann (Smith) – of Burton, MI, age 79, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in Carol’s memory.
Carol was born in Lapeer, MI on March 5, 1940, daughter of the late Dean and Shirley (Clark) Smith. She married Edward Adams on April 22, 1961 in Lupton, MI.
Carol is survived by her husband, Edward Adams; 3 children, Edward (Liz) Adams, Jr., Charles (Chris) Adams and Holly (Tom) Harris; 7 grandchildren, Eric, Christal, Brandon, Katie, Andrew, Conner and Tonya; 6 great-grandchildren, Jace, Ellery, Easton, Miles, Hailey and Ashley; sister, Marie (Dan) Kiehl; 2 brothers-in-law, Virgil Adams and Raymond (Gail) Adams; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann (John) Bibbs; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Shirley Smith; sister, Elinor Martin; 2 brothers, Gerald Smith and Paul Smith.
