BOMBE, Maxine M. – Of Grand Blanc Township, age 90, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Maple Place.
Cremation has taken place. Service will be private.
Maxine was born in Flint, Michigan on April 24, 1927.
She married Frank J. Bombe Jr.
She loved Bingo, crafting, quilting and Canadian fishing.
Maxine raised her children and then earned her LPN Degree and worked for 15 years at FOH until Frank’s retirement from GM-Fisher Body. She then joined him in retirement and they moved to Florida from the Flint area until 6 years ago, when she returned to Flint to reside near her family.
Surviving are children, Kathryn (Don) Longstreet,
Patricia Bauer,
Frank (Deena) Bombe,
Robert (Sandra) Bombe,
Sue Ann (Gerry) Uebbing;
daughters-in-law, Cindy Bombe and Debbie Bombe;
15 grandchildren;
27 great-grandchildren;
3 great-great-grandchildren.
Many heartfelt thanks to her caregivers at Maple Place.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents, Henry and Rebecca; son, Michael Bombe; brother, David and sister, Irene.
