Mudge, Lyle William, of Clio (formerly of Millington), age 85, died at Maple Woods Manor after a lengthy illness. A memorial will be held at a later date. Burial is at Thetford Township Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Diane, son, Jacob Mudge (wife Lisa), daughter, Georgia (husband Steve Simon), son, Lyle E. Mudge (wife Dana), stepson, Bob Hartley (wife Lori), 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and sister, Joan Hart. Lyle was preceded in death by his grandson, Kip Hodges.
Lye worked at Buick Motor Division for 44 years as a Manufacturing Engineer, retiring in 1999. He graduated from Millington High School class of 1955, and G.M.I. Lyle was an active member of Millington Masonic Lodge #470 and Clio Lodge #205, Clio American Legion #158 serving on the Color Guard, and a member of Clio Lions Club.
Lyle enjoyed spending time with family and showing off his car, Vicky, at antique car shows.
