PETHERS, Terry L. passed away Tuesday January 3, 2017 at his home. He enjoyed dining out and spending time with his family. And friends. He had a passion for cooking, he made countless, delicious meals for his family. To know Terry, was to love Terry. He always carried around a twinkle in his eye and his love for the 2nd amendment. Terry served the USMC during Vietnam. He owned his own record and video store, was a DJ, and worked for GM during his lifetime. He is survived by his Daughters Jody Tompkins of Durand, Joselyn Pethers and Rylie Pethers of Flint and Son Scott Pethers of Midland. His Grandchildren, Nikolas and Sydney Tompkins. Mother Hilda, and 2 brothers, Kenneth and Rick. Special friend Dixie as well as Jeff, and Barbara. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Pethers.
A memorial service will be held 3pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Memorial visitation 11am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial of cremains will be held 11am Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
