Diane Marie Wilson, 65, of Fenton and formerly of the Reese Area, died Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2011 in Howell. She was born on May 2, 1946 in Saginaw, daughter of Anne (Schafsnitz) Krieger and the late Otto Krieger. Diane had many hobbies and had enjoyed, shopping, traveling, playing cards, dice, knitting, crocheting but mostly, true enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fenton. Surviving in addition to her mother Anne of Vassar are her children, Steve (Laura) Wilson of Howell, Kimberly (Darren) Williams of Waterford and Michael (Jacquie) Wilson of Fenton; sisters, Faye (Dale) Fox, Jessica (Don) Bierlein, Ann Clark, Lori Corell all of Vassar, Nancy Krieger of Reese; sister-in-law Karen Krieger of Lapeer; grandchildren, Josiah Wilson, Grant and Connor Williams, Madison, MacKenzie and Michelena Wilson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father Otto, a brother Wayne Krieger predeceased her. Funeral services will take place at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2, 2011 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 9940 Saginaw Street, Reese. Rev. Dean Dumbrille will officiate with cremation to follow the service. Diane’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Wilson family. |
