On Saturday, February 22nd, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Linda Harris, passed away peacefully at the age of 78, reuniting with her beloved husband, son, and family members who preceded her.
Born on October 28, 1946, Linda was the 9th of 10 siblings. She graduated from Atherton High School in 1964 and went on to work at AC Spark Plug before becoming a manager at EDS. After her retirement, Linda’s home became a gathering place for family and friends, where she joyfully hosted get-togethers and created cherished memories.
Linda’s love for her family was beyond measure. She was an extraordinary caregiver, tending to her son and husband with devotion until their passing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Linda was also known for her love of Christmas, a passion she passed down through the generations. Her famous Peanut Butter Fudge recipe became a beloved tradition for family gatherings during the holiday season.
Linda is survived by her son, John, daughter-in-law, Beth, as well as her grandchildren: Victoria and husband Zachary, Amanda and husband Ryan, and Andrew and wife Emma. She was a proud great-grandmother to William, Jackson, Colton, Hunter, and Grayson. Linda is also survived by her sister, Rebecca.
Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on through her family and the memories they hold dear.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 28th from 4-8pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 1st at 11am with a luncheon immediately following. Both visitation and Funeral service will be held at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI 48433.
