Bricker, Jack H. of Flushing, age 84, went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 10, 2016, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Flint. Pastor Sam Hacker will officiate. A private burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Rossell Funeral Home. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
Jack was born in Flint, Michigan, on February 20, 1932, the son of Homer and Marie (Rutledge) Bricker. He married Marion M. Dohrman in Flint, Michigan, on August 27, 1955. Jack worked at Buick for 41 years and served in the Army in Korea as a Sergeant. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Flint. Jack volunteered for Meals On Wheels, Habitat For Humanity, and Boswell Daycare Center in Arizona. He loved vintage Chrysler automobiles, baseball, children, and traveling to Arizona. Jack had a phenomenal sense of humor and he touched every heart he ever encountered.
Jack is survived by his wife, Marion; 3 children, Bethany, Thomas (Iris), Michael (Tampatha “Tab”); grandchildren, Heather, Jenny; sister, Dixie. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barbara, Karla; and son, Steven.
