Paula C. Lapeer, age 68, of Columbiaville died January 6, 2018 at McLaren - Lapeer with her loving family beside her.
Paula was born May 4, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to John and Edna Geisenhaver. She later married Terry Lapeer on July 24, 1970 in Imlay City. Paula was very active, she enjoyed golf, playing pool, cards, euchre, bowling, softball, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Paula is survived by her husband Terry, sons: Frank (Fiancé Janet Huff) Worvie, Ryan (James) Lapeer, siblings: Jack (Minnie) Geisenhaver, Ann (Edwin) Toman, Johanna Geisenhaver, grandchildren: Matthew Lapeer, Kirsten Lapeer, mother in-law Virginia Lapeer, brother in-laws Danny Lapeer, and Kenneth Lapeer. She was preceded in death by parents, brother Matthew, father in-law Lee, and brother in-law Jeff.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Paula’s life will take place 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Jansen Family Funeral Home - Columbiaville, where friends may visit 11:00 AM till time of service. Pastor Tom Knight officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Paula may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or U of M Cancer Center.
