HENSE, Wilhelm K. - Of Grand Blanc, age 83, died Monday, March 6, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Carriage Town Ministries.
Visitation 10am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Wilhelm was born in Bay City on May 14, 1933. On November 7, 1981, he married Georgia Whitinger in Flint. He retired after 40 years as a Staff Engineer with General Motors. Wilhelm was a “member” of the Professional Engineers and the American Business Women’s Association. He enjoyed golf and for the last 16 years was Supervisor for The Jack Nicklaus Group of the Flint Jr. Golf Association.
Surviving are wife, Georgia;
children, Dawn and husband Harvey Lemay of Georgia, Karla Browning and husband Matt Bratcher of Fenton, David Hense of Hartland, stepchildren, Steven and Karen Fallis of Millington, Scott Fallis of Columbiaville, Shawn Fallis of Mayville, and Shannon and wife Tanya Fallis of Florida;
17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;
brother, Adolf and wife Jeanette Hense of Florida;
sister, Maria and husband Jack Fry of Burton;
brother-in-law, Dallas and wife Debra Whitinger of Wisconsin;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Terry Hense, parents, Adolf and Alice Hense and great-granddaughter, Brianne.
