Mary graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1966, and graduated from Flint Junior College Nursing School in 1968. Mary was employed as an R.N. at McLaren Hospital beginning in 1968. She retired from McLaren in 2010. In 2008 she was awarded the Margaret McLaren Award for outstanding nursing. Mary married her husband David W. Crawford on July 18, 1970. She is survived by her husband, and her 3 children, Anne Crawford, Andrew Crawford, and James Crawford (Taje); her 4 grandchildren, Cameron Parish, Lacey Crawford, Jata Crawford and Ian Crawford, her mother Louise Lang, and 2 sisters, Jeanne VanHouten (Dan) and Joanne Lang as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her Father, John W. Lang and her brother, John J. Lang. Mary was an avid camper and traveler. She loved her dogs, gardening, reading, and babysitting her grandchildren. Mary was a life long parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Blanc. Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2019 between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home: 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439 Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 10:30 AM. 11804 S. Saginaw St. Grand Blanc, MI 48439 The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to McLaren Hospice and all of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at McLaren Hospital for their caring nature, hard work and dedication.
