Gerald (Jerry) Vozar
Age 64 of Flint passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Monday, October 23, 2017 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Edington officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4pm to 8pm.
Gerald was born in Owosso, the son of Joseph and Anne (Tozer) Vozar.
He graduated from Owosso High School, class of 1971.
Gerald enjoyed bowling and helping at the 4H dog show at the fair. He was an avid Detroit Lions Fan and Michigan State Football Fan. Most of all, Gerald looked forward to spending time with his family.
Gerald was employed through the years with Eislers, Kessel, Farmer Jack and Kroger as a meat cutter.
Gerald is survived by children Jamie (Troy) Bushard, Jennifer (Jon) Vozar, Joseph (Shannon) Vozar and Troy (Stephanie) Vozar; grandchildren Timothy and Andrew Bushard, Morgan Spencer and Parker Vozar; special companion Sammie; sister Patricia (Martin) King; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shiawassee County Humane Society or the Shiawassee County 4-H dog program.
