CHURCH, Gordon – of Davison, age 82, passed away January 24, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Randy Schultz officiating. Burial, with Military Honors will be held in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12-3 & 5-8 PM Monday and 10-11 AM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Davison VFW Post #4087.
Gordon was born in Flint, MI on December 21, 1932, son of the late Roy and Irene (Rondeau) Church. Gordon proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. He married Lottie M. Crump on December 21, 1957. Gordon was a member of the Davison VFW Post #4087. He loved hunting, fishing, family and cars. Gordon owned and operated Church and Sons since 1948.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Lottie; children, Rod (Therese) Church, Jeff (Jackie) Church, Barry (Chris) Church and Brad (Darci) Church; grandchildren, Matthew (Lauran), Kayla (fiancé, Kam Driskell), Zeke, Charlie, Zach, Mandy, Aaron, Courtnie and Natalie; sisters, Bev Church and JoAnn (Jack) Wheeler; brother, Gary (Doris) Church; brother-in-law, Ken Walter; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald (Wanda) and sister, Marilyn.
