WHITMER, Lenore H. – of Grand Blanc, age 60, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at McLaren of Flint. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 706 W. Flint St. in Davison on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 1-5PM. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Lenore was born March 4, 1955 in Detroit, MI to the late Carl and Rose Mary (Koppitsch) Tobey. She lived in Grand Blanc for many years. She was a floral designer having worked and several local flower shops and had her own shop at one time. Lenore enjoyed being a Boy Scout Mom and held a few positions with BSA. She enjoyed rescuing cats, baking and volunteering for several organizations.
Surviving are: several dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth on November 28, 1988; and her son, Jay Whitmer on September 19, 2015. Please sign our guest book, or share an online condolence with the family at www.oguinnfh.com.
