BELL, Cathy Ann- Age 62, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, September 26, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Reverend Dr. Mary Lloyd officiating. Visitation will be held 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Friday and 12PM until time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Cathy was born in Flint, Michigan, on March 14, 1953 the daughter of Robert L. and Eileen R. (Bowden) McComb. She married James Bell on March 17, 1973 in Swartz Creek. Cathy retired from Genesee County with 20 years of service and also worked for Sports Creek Raceway from 1992-2002. She enjoyed spending time with and attending her grandchildren's sporting events. Surviving are: husband, Jim; daughter Jamie; grandsons, Chance Foster, Cameron and Cayden Spohn all of Swartz Creek; mother Eileen McComb of Flint; brother, Robert (Helen) McComb of Clark Lake, MI; sister, Cindy (Pharis) Cole of AL; sister-in-law Diane (Dave) Braodworth of Swartz Creek; brother-in-law, Kevin (Valeria) Bell of Escanaba; Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Robert L. McComb in 1985; and nephews Robbie Cole in 1999 and Nick Cole in 2006.
