DELACRUZ, Gary Rubien – Of Burton, age 63, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at South Flint Tabernacle G-3450 South Saginaw St, Burton, Bishop Robert E. Henson and Pastor Jason McGhee officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Visitation 11-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mr. DeLaCruz will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service.
Gary was born on August 2, 1954 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Ruben and Joyce (Trumbull) DeLaCruz.
Gary served in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Gary was also a member of South Flint Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are daughters, Sabrina DeLaCruz and
Holly DeLaCruz and fiance’ Ryan Cahill;
grandchildren, Chad, Kearston and Joslyn DeLaCruz and Ethan Cahill;
siblings, Linda DeLaCruz and Rick (Deanna) DeLaCruz;
many nieces,nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Joyce DeLaCruz, wife; Sherry DeLaCruz and brother, Victorano DeLaCruz.
