Thelma Lois Dunn, age 90 years young, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. She is now another Angel of ours looking down on us all. There will be no service due to the current virus pandemic. A Private Burial will be held to lay her to rest. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McLaren Hospice Care unit, in Thelma’s name.
Thelma was born July 1, 1929 in Flint, MI., residing in the surrounding Flint area for the majority of her life. She was once married to the late Gordon L. Wallace Sr. Thelma was the sweetest, cutest Mother, Grandma, Nana anyone could ever know, but most of all she was strong and independent, and taught her family to be the same. Her love for us all is far and wide. Thelma loved being around her family, sewing, cooking, baking and watching westerns.
Thelma is survived by daughters; Marsha Durnan, Theresa (the late Jack) Swayne, Felicia (Paula) Wallace, Rita (Paul) Farver; sons, Terry (Theresa) Wallace, Butch (Sunshine) Wallace. She will forever be looking over all her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, and many others she inherited as her own along the way.
