MATTISON, Linda Marie, of Flushing, age 78, died Friday, October 18, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 22 and 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at Rossell Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Mary Lloyd will officiate. Burial to follow at Sunset Hills. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Chicago.
Linda was born in Flint, Michigan on October 4, 1941 to Ernest and Nellie (Jenkins) Hoffman. She loved her family and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her son, Brett (Yvonne) Mattison; grandchildren, Courtney (Ryan) Beardslee, Ryan (Rhiannon) Timlick, Chadd Mattison, and Cole (Aly) Mattison; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend and long-term caregiver, Tracey Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wally Mattison; son, Brad Mattison; and brother, Don Hoffman. |
