PENOYER, Olabelle – of Davison, age 81, passed away February 10, 2017 at Genesee Care Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Elder John Hart officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday.
Olabelle was born in Almont Twp., MI on December 17, 1935, daughter of the late William and Elva (Rickman) Brooks. She married Leroy B. Penoyer on July 31, 1954 and he preceded her in death on May 30, 2010. Olabelle worked for AC Spark Plug for 20 years. She enjoyed ceramics in her younger years and was a member of the Davison Eagles #3589.
Olabelle is survived by her children, Connie (Dan) Oliver and Michael (June) Penoyer; grandchildren, Wade, Megan, Aaron, Danelle, Tera and Russell; great-grandchildren, Alexa, Donovan, Breydan, Nolan, Jaden, Rayna, Lilly, Macy, Leah, Morgan, Collin, Kelby and Paisley; sisters, Luella Hampton and Vera Rutherford. She was preceded in death by sister, Mid; brothers, Frank, Ray and Sam.
